About Us

Established in 2018, the Academies of Loudoun Hunger Relief Club was founded to reduce the problem of hunger in Loudoun County and Northern Virginia. The club now supports 3 food banks/pantries through volunteering and donations.

How to Join

To become a member of the club, come to our club meetings in room 2201 during lunch at the Academies of Loudoun. This year (2020 - 2021) we will meet virtually. Both A day and B day Academies students are welcome to join! Meetings our currently online due to COVID but check the meeting page for information!

Contact Us

Email us at aclhungerreliefclub@gmail.com or contact us through Remind (code: @aclhunger). If there are any issues you would like us to bring attention to, please let us know. Our main focus is hunger relief but we would be happy to support other causes in our community.

Are you a student at the Academies of Loudoun and looking to give back to the community?

The Hunger Relief Club at ACL may be just for you! We run food drives seasonally to give back to our community. Even if you did not attend our introductory meeting on September 30th, you still have time to sign up and contact our student administrators to immerse yourself in our activities! First, please fill out the google form in the "Upcoming Events" page to become an official member! To continue as a member of our club, you MUST attend all meetings as listed on our website, as well as contribute to the activities that we do. Some of our participants volunteer by packaging food to the food banks, whereas others spread awareness about hunger to their respective communities. In addition, you will be able to serve as a contributing member to organizing the food drives if you decide to join our club!
